Meet Şebnem Ilhan, she’s an animal loving Dentist from Turkey who came up with an awesome solution for the stray cats
The weather in Turkey had been freezing and she couldn't bare to see the stray cat's suffering so she decided to invite them into her house by building a special cat ladder so they could climb up and find warmth in her home.
Şebnem told The Dodo that she was worried incase her neighbours didn't appreciate her new invention so she decided to dress the ladder up with some adorable plant pots, thankfully it's gone down well and she said the reception has been overwhelmingly positive.
The ladder makes it easy for the cats to find shelter
Countless kitties have taken up the offer and found warmth in her house, she said "I wish no animal is hungry or thirsty, just happy, this world is not just for people".
Şebnem also dedicates her spare time helping stray dogs and cats around the city and making sure that they are cared for too. She's definitely a special lady with a big love for animals and we definitely need more people like this in the world.
