The giant Beagle was created in 1997 by chainsaw professionals, husband and wife Dennis Sullivan and Frances Conklin. The pair named their 30ft high beagle creation “Sweet Willy” and later on they built a little edition named “Toby” who stands at 12ft.
The married couple explain their big break came in 1995 when their carvings were sold on QVC television, they spent a tremendous amount of hours (18 months to be precise) carving statues and decided to invest the money in creating Bark Park.
