A story with a happy ending is always the best, especially when it comes to animals and this one has to be at the top of the list for happiness.
Adorable Champas
5 year old Champas had been in an Australian Shelter for a grand total of 436 days. Poor Champas had a rough start because when he entered the shelter he was very frightened and didn't want to interact with anyone.
Unfortunately for Champas, no one wanted to adopt him beause he didn't want to be social with people.
After a few months with no improvement staff at Animal Welfare League Australia shelter (Sydney) decided to introduce Champas to the reception area so he could meet different people which would allow him to become more confident and build his trust in humans.
Here's Champas in his new home, as you can see it looks like he's settled in just fine. Hooray for Champas!
