They say that cat’s have 9 lives but meet Nutmeg, he’s definitely had way more lives than your average kitty and he’s outlived all of his furry friends.
At age 31, that’s equivalent to 141 years in human years!

OAP Nutmeg has only got 3 teeth left (bless him) and he doesn't care to go outside anymore but he's still going strong.
Nutmeg's parents from Tyne & Wear claim their secret to Nutmegs long life is him being spoilt rotten, he even has his own room in the house.
Last year Nutmeg had a stroke and the vet said the chance of him being put down was high, but miraculously he recovered.
One thing is for sure he's a tough cookie.
